The 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup will be the twentieth edition of the U-20 World Cup, since its inception in 1977 as the FIFA World Youth Championship. The competition will be held in New Zealand,[1] with between 6 to 8 cities expected to host matches.[2]


4 countries had officially announced their bids by the time of the deadline.[3] The winning bid was announced on March 3, 2011.[4]
